A virtual walk in the footsteps of the Pre-Raphaelite band of brothers (and sisters too)

7th March 18:00-19:00, walk led by Camden Guides Elena Paolini and Penny Burns

As revolutions raced across Europe and social reform swept across Britain, this secret society sought to create a new blend of British art in the 19th century. They were the original rebels of art, a group of seven, led by a youthful band of three. On our virtual tour, we will explore where they lived and worked. We will learn about the criticisms of their artwork by the 19th century’s most acclaimed author. We will look at the celebrated connoisseur of art who supported and admired them and shed some light on the ‘stunners’ who were the subject of their art.
