A story of friendship, females and fabric

In this virtual walk around Bloomsbury and beyond, we will discover how buildings shape stories and link the past to the present. We will follow in the footsteps of the artists and lifelong friends Edward Burne-Jones and William Morris, looking at the places where they lived and worked. Whilst learning about Burne-Jones’s obsession for Dante Gabriel Rossetti and Morris’s Medieval vision, we will explore how they transitioned from the Pre-Raphaelite Movement to the Arts and Crafts Movement, producing a lasting impact on the world of design today.

This virtual walk will be conducted on Zoom by Camden Guides Elena Paolini and Penny Burns
