Jane has been guiding for twenty years and for much of that time worked for the long established ‘London Walks’ walking tour company. She is a Blue Badge Guide, a City of London Guide, a Westminster Guide and a tutor on the Islington Guiding Course. As a long-time Camden resident, however, Jane now specialises in ‘Highlights and Surprises’ style walks in Camden where the smorgasbord of delights go way beyond the glorious musical heritage of Camden Town. They include gems from London’s ‘Museum Mile’ and ‘Knowledge Quarter’ and from the world of Art and Literature in Bloomsbury, Fitzrovia and Hampstead. Camden is also rich in Women’s History and, with the stunning redevelopment around Kings Cross and St Pancras, in railway history. And Camden, as host to the Dickens Museum, is the borough of Charles Dickens.
