Flora is Scottish but has lived most of her adult life in London apart from 10 years living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil during her twenties where she was a professional tour operator and guide, working mainly with visitors coming down from the USA in groups. On returning to the UK, she studied Graphic design and worked as a designer for many years before becoming an Art Teacher in a secondary school in London. During this time, she pursued her love of history and guiding by completing the Westminster Guiding course, followed by the Camden guide course and finally, the Clerkenwell and Islington guide course. Her favourite topics are the Royals throughout history, crime and punishment, the lives of the common people, ghostly London and Art walks. Flora has been working as a London Guide since 2016 and is very excited to continue helping others on their guiding journey.
