Edward is a rare find, a native Londoner born and raised and is a fluent British Sign Language User. In 2022 Edward became a newly qualified Camden Tour Guide. Prior to gaining this qualification Edward had gained over 20 years’ experience of working with Museums and Art Galleries to provide accessible BSL Deaf-led tours.
Edward has a fascination and passion for a large mixture of aspects in history. From Architecture to LGBTQ+ history, 17thCentury to contemporary Arts and literature through to Deaf community culture and history. As part of the Local London Guiding Day in October 2022, Edward presented a talk on “Maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner”, a journey through the ever-evolving streets of St Giles, a forgotten neighbourhood in Central London.
Edward loves London because of its diversity of cultures, people and the various things in between and it’s all on offer at London’s doorstep. Why not join him on a tour through the heart of the most unique capital city of the world!
