Amanda grew up in Lewisham- yes, south of the river- and after teaching history for many years, qualified as a tour guide in Camden and in the City of London. She guides in the Guildhall Art Gallery, lectures on the history of London and has even strayed into the world of after-dinner speaking! She enjoys exploring history and literature on her walks, and, as a keen gardener and animal-lover, revels in Camden’s many fine open spaces.
